Julia Kay and Reese Kelly Dixon were honored for their birthdays Sunday afternoon with a pizza party given by their parents and sister, Jeb, Desiree, and Brooke Dixon at the home of their great-aunt, Barbara Hopson. Those attending were family and friends.

Bruce and Suzy Cox, Ray and John Stephens, Mike and Donna Schultz, Elizabeth Phillips and Richard Crutch were Sunday dinner guests of Martha Lawhorn.

Shaylie Teague was baptized Sunday morning during the worship service at White Mound Baptist Church. Those attending were her parents, Keith and Sherrie Sheets and family and friends.

Debbie Piller, Chris and Jennifer Miller, Neal, Amanda, Blayze, Slayton, Caymbri and Cora Fisher, Ronnie and Kay Fisher and Claudia Brown watched Brodie Fisher play football for Oglesby against Penelope Friday evening. Brodie scored four touchdowns for the Tigers.

Barbara Hopson went to Hamilton last Friday evening to watch her great-niece, Ruby Pullen, compete in a barrel race.

Ruby Pullen competed Sunday in Dallas at the State Fair of Texas Barrel Race. Ruby won fourth place in 3D on her horse Stella.

Valerie Terrell and Carolyn Blakley had lunch in Gatesville Thursday.

Robert and Carolyn Blakley went to Fredericksburg for the weekend.
