Mrs. Patricia Cliver Pruett is asking for our community to keep her in your prayers.  Pat is having open heart surgery on Wednesday, March 29.  Then Pat will have to go in to have her aortic valve replaced.

Miss Olivia Lois Long, daughter of Zach and Amanda Long, of Mound, entered the Miss Spring Fest Pageant at the Texas Station Event Center in Gatesville on Saturday.  Olivia was a competitor in the category for those between 3 and 5 years old.  Destini Leyva was crowned “Tiny Miss.”

Miss Lillie Mann participated in the Spring Fest Pageant at Texas Station and won “Junior Miss.”

Matti and Lillie Mann participated in the Austin Livestock Judging contest last Friday.

Mrs. Bettie Blakley of Pearl spent the day Tuesday and Wednesday with Robert, Carolyn, and Emma Blakley.

Emma Blakley of College Station was home last week for her spring break.

Kathi Taylor had Sunday lunch with her mother, Mrs. Sue Magee in Gatesville.
