Members of the Morris Federation will meet on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at 10:15 a.m. in the James Coryell Room at the Coryell Museum and Historical Center.
The program, which is titled "The Touch of the Master’s Hand," will be presented by Bronwen Kirby. Bronwen has lived in Texas 16 years, with more than 10 of them spent in Waco. She became interested in classical music at age five and began playing violin at age six. She graduated from the Central Texas String Academy last year. She has been making violins since age 12, under the instruction of Timothy Johnson. Bronwen also plays piano and organ, but her program on March 8 will feature her playing several violin pieces on a violin that she made herself. She has been home schooled, will graduate this spring, and plans to enroll at Baylor University this fall.
