Meals on Wheels in need of drivers

Meals on Wheels is currently in need of local volunteer drivers. Meals on Wheels is a federally funded program for older adults who are homebound, unable to prepare a meal, don't drive and have no one to cook for them. The Meals on Wheels program provides home-delivered nutritious meals.

Gatesville is in need of volunteer drivers Monday through Friday with meals picked up at the Senior Center at 10:15 a.m. Drivers are needed for four different routes. Volunteers will be reimbursed for their mileage – 62 cents per mile.

To volunteer, contact the Senior Center Director Pam Rudolph at 254-865-8234. The Gatesville Center is located at 208 North Lutterloh Avenue in Gatesville.
