Lifeguards needed at city pool

The City of Gatesville is actively seeking responsible individuals to join the aquatics team at the city pool as summer lifeguards for 2024.

The certification class will be held from Monday, May 6 to Sunday, May 12.

Key responsibilities include:

Ensure the safety of pool visitors through vigilant supervision.

Respond promptly to emergencies and enforce pool rules.

Maintain a clean and organized pool area.

Provide excellent customer service to pool guests.

All interested inquiries must be of the age of 15 years or older. Individuals looking to be a lifeguard must possess a valid lifeguard certification, have strong swimming skills and physical fitness, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Other available positions include the assistant manager and a front desk associate.
