Robert Kazmierczak is one of the newest members at the Gatesville Chamber of Commerce and is currently volunteering as an ambassador.
Kazmierczak and his wife moved to Gatesville in 2008 from Tyler. He grew up in the Buffalo, NY area and joined the Army when he was only 18 years old. He then later moved to Texas where he was assigned to the base on Ft. Hood.
While serving, he was injured and is now a disabled veteran and has been part of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) organization for 43 years. He is now serving as Judge Advocate and Sergeant at Arms at the local DAV which is located on State School Road.
