Jonesboro releases FFA results for the 2022-23 school year

Jonesboro Independent School District recently released its FFA results for the 2022-23 school year.  Here are the results and updates:

Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo found Jonesboro FFA members Trey Harbour, Kenny Warrick and Campbell Gustin all showing in the Southdown breed. Harbour received third place in his class, qualifying for the youth auction. Both Kenny and Campbell came up a couple of slots short of making the sale with their lambs. All three did an outstanding job showing their animals.

Austin Rodeo rounded out the spring show run. Again, Kenny Warrick exhibited a Fine Wool Cross lamb to be in the top 15 in his class. Trey Harbour exhibited a Southdown lamb, placing second in his class and a market goat that placed first in his class.

Brynlee Taylor and Michella Martinez made their first trip to a major stock show with their market barrows. Both girls did an extremely good job showing their barrows, and learned a lot about being at a major.

As the current school year winds down, Jonesboro ISD will have students participating in judging team contests, award applications, speaking contests, officer elections, and their FFA Banquet.
