Nancy Germain is a longtime member of the Gatesville Chamber of Commerce and is currently volunteering as an ambassador and assists with the Junior Ambassadors.
Germain moved to Gatesville in 1987 after being raised in Corning, IA.
She joined the United States Army and was stationed in Missouri, Kentucky, and Germany.
After leaving the military, she worked for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) and Laerdal before retiring. This is when she took on her love of sewing and created her very own business called The Sisters.
She enjoys canning, quilting, and recently became a high school football referee.
Germain was also awarded the Ambassador of the Year award for 2023.
