Gatesville Public Library to hold genealogy class through February

The Gatesville Public Library is offering the community a chance to experience its brand-new genealogy class.

The class is for community members who are interested in discovering the depths of genealogy. Participants will learn about resources the library provides as well as how to navigate other resources within Coryell County.

The first class was held on Friday, Jan. 19, where community members were introduced to online research.

The next class will be on Friday, Feb. 2, at 10 a.m. and will include information on Coryell County websites and resources.

The last class will be held on Friday, Feb. 16, at 10 a.m. and will entail how to navigate ancestry and state library archives.
