Evant Independent School District to hold FAFSA meeting Feb. 1

Posted

Evant Independent School District will host a Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) information night for seniors on Thursday, Feb. 1 at 6 p.m.

Students and parents are invited to attend the event together, as it is important to begin planning for college and financial aid.

FAFSA is responsible for managing the student financial assistance programs authorized under Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965. These free programs provide grant, work-study, and loan funds to students attending college, career, or trade school.

It is recommended to create a StudentAid.gov account before starting your FAFSA form. When you create your account, be careful to enter your name and social security number (SSN) exactly as they appear on your social security card.

Evant ISD is located at 339 Memory Lane in Evant.
