Elvis will be in the building, August 25 at city auditorium

This month a trio of talented Elvis performers will be putting on a stage show at the Gatesville City Auditorium. Hound Dog Productions, a local entertainment company based in Temple, is bringing their production of From a Jack to a King. This live music Elvis experience will feature Hunter Cole, Travis Hudson, and John Cobb. 

 

Hunter Cole is a 16-year-old advocate for autism. He was nonverbal for years, his love for music and Elvis have brought him out of his shell. He has performed for over 100 total private and public events over the past two years. He won third place in the national youth competition in Tupelo, MS at Elvis’s birthplace. His goal is to show others that even if someone has autism, they can still achieve their dreams. 

 

Travis Hudson is a crowd favorite from San Antonio that performs all decades of Elvis. He has won many awards over the last six years that he has been performing and was featured in Tex Appeal Magazine. He is extremely talented and puts his heart and soul into every performance. He is also the official Elvis for Hard Rock Café in San Antonio. 

 

John Cobb is a multi-award-winning tribute artist from Chilton. He has performed at Graceland, competed in many contests across the United States, and was featured in the Wacoan Magazine. He specializes in the concert years of 1975 to 1977. Residents of Gatesville may recognize him since he delivered to Gatesville for UPS for over 12 years. He recently traded in his uniform for a jumpsuit. He loves bringing joy to the lives of lifelong Elvis fans of all ages.

 

This one night only event will be on Friday, August 25, at 7 p.m. at the Gatesville City Auditorium across from the Gatesville Public Library. There will be a party after the show for all ticket holders at Junction on Route 36, located at 1216 Hwy 36 in Gatesville. Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased by calling 682-268-0269
