The following is a breakdown of activity reported through dispatchers during the period of August 21 – 23.  While there were many calls to the dispatcher, this is a partial list of more significant activity. Persons are reminded that only emergency calls should be made to 9-1-1, while all other calls to the police department should be made to 865-2226 or to the Sheriff’s office at 865-7201.

12:06 a.m., a missing person was reported in the 200 block of Old Pidcoke Road.

4:26 p.m., a brush/grass fire was reported in the 16000 block of S. Hwy. 36.

5:56 p.m., reckless conduct was reported in the 2500 block of E. Main Street.

6:24 p.m., suspicious activity was reported in the 400 block of Woods Drive.

7:47 p.m., a welfare concern was reported in the 100 block of FM 116.

11:53 p.m., suspicious activity was reported in the 11000 block of N. State Hwy. 36.

August 22

8:59 a.m., a threat was reported in the 500 block of Saunders Street.

11:57 a.m., an accident was reported in the 500 block of N. State Hwy. 36.

12:50 p.m., suspicious activity was reported in the 100 block of Old Pidcoke Road.

1:54 p.m., an accident was reported in the 8000 block of N. Hwy. 36.

5:00 p.m., a theft was reported in the 100 block of N. State Hwy. 36 Bypass.

6:35 p.m., suspicious activity was reported in the 1200 block of Bridge Street.

August 23

8:21 a.m., an assault was reported in the 200 block of S. Lovers Lane.

4:51 p.m., a theft was reported in the 2800 block of S. State Hwy. 36.

7:33 p.m., a threat was reported in the 1100 block of Golf Course Road.

7:58 p.m., reckless conduct was reported in the 200 block of Surrey Lane.

9:38 p.m., suspicious activity was reported in the 2200 block of Bridge Street.

10:23 p.m., an assault was reported in the 2300 block of Business Hwy. 36.

8:13 a.m., a theft was reported in the 200 block of Lonesome Dove.

4:39 p.m., a stranded motorist was reported on N. Hwy. 36 at CR 197.

8:39 p.m., suspicious activity was reported on FM 931 near CR 102.

10:09 p.m., a welfare concern was reported in the 4800 block of CR 137.

11:59 p.m., suspicious activity was reported on N. Hwy. 36 at Jonesboro Baptist Church.

August 22

1:10 a.m., suspicious activity was reported in the 11000 block of N. Hwy. 36.

4:01 a.m., a welfare concern was reported in the 100 block of FM 1996.

8:34 a.m., bullying was reported at the Oglesby School.

2:06 p.m., a theft was reported in the 500 block of E. Leon Street.

2:10 p.m., an animal complaint was reported in the 100 block of CR 307.

3:25 p.m., criminal trespass was reported in the 800 block of FM 116.

August 23

12:30 a.m., a domestic disturbance was reported in the 2800 block of Mimosa Drive.

11:40 a.m., a welfare concern was reported in the Lonesome Oak area.

2:03 p.m., an animal complaint was reported in the 600 block of Whispering Oaks.

2:08 p.m., a domestic disturbance was reported on CR 274.

4:25 p.m., missing livestock was reported in the Lutheran Church area.

6:26 p.m., an animal complaint was reported in the 400 block of Thomas Street.
