The Sterling C. Robertson Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas will meet on Thursday, Feb. 1, at 1 p.m. The meeting will be held at the new location, Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce Building, located at 101 S. 3rd Street in downtown Waco. There is a meeting room there, and parking is available.
Jeff Pirtle, Executive Director of the Texas Collection at Baylor University, will be the speaker. This is the 100-year anniversary of the collection.
This meeting is free and open to the public. Prospective members are encouraged to attend.
