Coryell Retired School Personnel (CRSP) to meet Jan. 25

Posted

The first meeting of the year for Coryell Retired School Personnel (CRSP) will be on Thursday, Jan. 25, at Rancher's Steak House.

This is the month when CRSP has its silent auction to raise money for its Scholarship Fund. Members are asked to bring new or lightly used items, crafts, homemade canned or baked goods, tools, books, collectibles, gift cards (or just a donation is good, too), or any of a huge variety of other items.  All proceeds go into the scholarship fund, and the group has a fun time buying each other's "stuff."

Scholarship committee members are asked to be there at 9 a.m. to help set up items. Other members should come about 9:20 - 9:30 a.m. to submit their items for the silent auction and have an opportunity to look around and place bids on items of interest for themselves.

Members who have not turned in ALL of their volunteer hours for 2023 (especially updates for November and December) are requested to give them to Debbie Grmela as soon as possible. She has not yet turned in our total count of hours, but that DEADLINE is quickly approaching. Please help her out.

All members need to turn in their volunteer hours for January thus far, as this begins a new count for 2024. Members are asked not to turn in their 2023 hours and their 2024 hours together.

The meeting will begin at 10 a.m. The program will be presented by Sam Crosby, pastor at Trinity Baptist Church. His topic will be related to beginning a new year. There will also be a short business meeting.
