Coryell County 4-H to host various events through April

The Coryell County Fair is over for the year, but there are still many things happening within Coryell County 4-H.

There will be around seven contests coming up within the next few weeks, and each contest has the potential to advance to a district level for Junior, Intermediate, and Senior age divisions. A state level competition is available for seniors who are active 4-H members prior to Friday, March 1.

Each contest is open to kindergarten through 12th grade and includes:

• Coryell 4-H Photography Contest, due Friday, March 1.
• Coryell 4-H Fashion Show, due Friday, March 1.
• Coryell 4-H Fashion Storyboard, due Friday, March 1.
• Coryell 4-H Educational Presentations, due Thursday, March 7.
• Coryell 4-H Public Speaking, due Thursday, March 7.
• Coryell 4-H Talent Showcase, due Thursday, March 7.

There will be a workshop open to third through 12th graders regarding educational presentations and public speaking on Tuesday, March 12 and Wednesday, March 20. Be sure to register online at http://coryell.agrilife.org.
