City trash service changes schedule due to eclipse

Due to the upcoming total eclipse to arrive on Monday, April 8, the City of Gatesville has changed its trash service schedule.

Since there will be an anticipated influx of traffic on the day of the eclipse, the trash service will run one day later after Monday, April 8.

For example, Monday’s route will run on Tuesday, and Tuesday’s route will run on Wednesday, etc.

Services will resume to their normal schedule during the week of Monday, April 15.
