The Oglesby Tigers opened up The 2026 football season with a victory over Plano Corum lions. The Tigers fell behind 70 to 56 in the third quarter but made a tremendous comeback to defeat the lions 86 to 84 in the fourth quarter .
Holdyn Goff started the scoring on a 75 yard kickoff return on the opening kickoff of the game. Goff had 367 Rushing yards on 31 carries and a 75 yard kickoff return for a total of 442 total yards. Golf was also 5/6 Passing for 92 yards and 1 touchdown pass. Goff had 9 Rushing touchdowns on the night. Aiden Oxford carried the ball 6 times for 49 yards and had a 70 yard kickoff return for a touchdown . Camden Webb Had three kickoff returns for 11 yards. Mason Marquez 1 carry for 11 yards and a touchdown. Caiden Brinkley had 1 60 yard touchdown reception from Goff. Javon Howard was 7/12 on PATS for 14 points.
