The Coryell City Osage Volunteer Fire Department helped cool everyone down before school started. Captain Tiffany Butler thanked the Boys & Girls Club for inviting the department to be part of their end-of-summer celebration. “We truly appreciate the opportunity to spend time with these amazing kids and our community. The Back to School Bash was held on Aug. 8 at the Gatesville Elementary School with over 200 families being served.
Distribution included 302 pairs of shoes and 350 backpacks. There were 10 hairdressers donating their time who gave approximately 50 free haircuts to students.
