GISD employee Michelle Martin can be considered the driving force behind The Stinger Stash Marketplace which is housed at the Gatesville Primary School. The food pantry is open year-round to Gatesville Independent School District teachers, staff, students and their parents, and to retired teachers.
Martin said that her inspiration to create the Marketplace came from years of working at the schools.
