THE FAMILY SOWELL, BLUEGRASS WITH A MISSION, TO PERFORM AT PEARL

Performing in Pearl will be “The Family Sowell, Bluegrass with a Mission” on Saturday, Nov. 6. The regular Pearl Bluegrass event begins at 1 p.m. at the Pearl Community Center.

The Family Sowell will also be performing at the center the following morning, Sunday, Nov. 7, at 10 a.m. Both family-friendly performances are free to the public. Before their Sunday concert, there will be a pancake breakfast at the center from 7-9 a.m.

The Family Sowell is an all-sibling (six brothers and sisters) contemporary Bluegrass band from Knoxville, Tennessee. They are referred to in part as Bluegrass entertainers and part Christian music evangelists. The siblings are Texas natives but moved to Tennessee in hopes of furthering their career in the music business.

The siblings feature tight family harmony and original songs written straight from their hearts. Their music melds passion and love together with a good dose of laughter, creating an authentic performance that inspires audiences everywhere.

For those wishing to camp at Pearl for the weekend, camping sites range from $20- 25 each. First come, first serve.
