The Gatesville High School dominated the Taylor Ducks Friday in a home team tennis match, winning 17 of 19 matches.
Anna Mitchell defeated Wekoye Anderson in girls No. 1 singles, 8-1.
Slone Early won 8-0, in the boys No. 1 singles over Jackson Schroeder of the Ducks.
In boys doubles, Early and Warren posted an 8-5 win over Trey Boles and Schroeder.
In the top girls doubles match, Stormy Tatum and Julee Sun posted an 8-1 victory over Anderson and Tinsley.
Other Hornet winners in singles were Alex Scott, Ty Warren, Carlo Martinez, Tyler Hutts, Jesse Strange, Julee Sun, Bri Alexander, Callie Smith, Olivia Walker and Preslea Edmond.
The teams of Mitchell and Smith and Alexander and Fitzer also picked wins.
Dayne Zacha and Olivia Walker won in mixed doubles.
The Hornets are scheduled to play at Killeen on Sept. 10, and face off with Stephenville Thursday, Sept. 16.
