The Lady Eagles (13-6) were in the Rio Vista Tournament Aug. 27 and 29. They finished second, defeating Meridian 23-25, 2516, 25-22; Western Hills 25-13, 25-8; McGregor 25-21, 25-15; Mansfield Summit twice 25-11, 25-18 and 25-22, 25-18; before falling in the championship match to Rio Vista 2515, 12-25, 14-25.
The win over Merdian was the 100th victory of head coach Keirsten Seahorn’s career.
