Making fresh homemade tortillas can be a wonderful craft. There is nothing like the smell of warm tortillas fresh off the griddle. Store-bought just cannot compare.
For many, making tortillas is a cherished memory passed down through mothers and grandmothers to their offspring.
Since 1994, Alvia Lind has had a tortilla making demonstration during Spurfest at the Coryell Museum and Historical Center.
