The Coryell County Commissioner’s court proposed the 2027 fiscal year (FY) tax rate during two meetings last week, Tuesday, Aug. 25, and Wednesday, Aug. 26.
The proposed tax rate was Commissioner Precinct 1 Kyle Matthew’s proposed $0.515 per $100 of taxable valuation in a 4-1.
Each of the commissioners voted yes to propose this rate, with the only no coming from Coryell County Judge Roger Miller.
