A few short weeks from now will mark six months since the west side of the courthouse square was destroyed by a devastating fire.

On the evening of March 16, the historic courthouse square faced a fire which destroyed three century-old structures including Leaird’s, The Gatesville Messenger, and A-1 Bail Bonds – three of the oldest buildings on the square.
