A bottle of soda pop for 5 cents

When visiting the service station exhibit at the Coryell Museum and Historical Center, visitors will see a vintage Coca-Cola cooler on the front porch of the station facade. Back in the day, the Coca-Cola bottles were kept cold by packing them in ice in an insulated cooler chest. In the 1940’s the cost for a bottle of Coke was 5 cents.
