Central Texas Roots Gardening Club in May 2023. The idea came from a lifelong passion of gardening and realizing the desire of many local gardeners for in person educational- fun meetups.
The group meets monthly on the second Saturday at 11 a.m. The first few meetings were a huge success. With daily interest continuing in the club, the group feels it will continue to grow momentum.
Meetings have included educational speakers, Dutch treat meals, sharing of seeds- plants-ideas, door prizes, refreshments. Future meetups are being planned for some fun outings, tours, and volunteer opportunities. Meetups are free and everyone is welcome and encouraged to bring friends and family who have a passion for gardening.
