Martha Ann Lawhorn honored for her birthday

Mrs. Martha Ann Lawhorn was honored for her birthday on Saturday. It was hosted by Elizabeth Phillips.  Those attending were Ryan Phillips, Zoie Rhoades, Craig, LaWanda and Rhett Lawhorn, of Temple.

Mrs. Doris Hoff, of Gatesville, visited during the week in Mound with Martha Lawhorn.

Jerry and Paula Bomar had all their children and grandchildren home for the Easter holidays.

Mound Cowboy Church had their annual Easter breakfast, service, and egg hunt.  There were 300 in attendance.

The Carothers Family had their Easter lunch hosted by Bobby and Nelda Carothers.  Good food and fellowship were enjoyed by all.  Those in attendance were family members and friends: Cooper Shackelford, future grandson-in-law, fiancé of Caleigh Carothers, plus Meghan Justice, of Temple, a friend of Skyler Carothers.

Emma Blakley came home on Thursday night from College Station for Easter weekend.

On Friday, Emma Blakley spent the day in Pearl with Bettie Blakley.

On Saturday, the Blakley family went to Montgomery for Carolyn’s great-nephew, Riley Reed’s, first birthday party at the home of Reed and Katelyn Griffith.

On Sunday, the Blakley and the Helms family spent Easter in Pearl with Mrs. Bettie Blakley.

The Hopson family had their annual Easter lunch hosted by Barbara Hopson.  Good food and fellowship were enjoyed by all. After lunch we had a big Easter Egg Hunt. Afterward, some of the Hopson family played Dominoes.  The entertainment was by David and Loyd Hopson and Zach Long. 

Those who have birthdays this coming weekend are Alison Moffett and Sandra Varner.
