Wyvonne was born on Nov. 1st, 1934, on a farm west of Gatesville, to Richard Fred Schaub and Maudine Collins Schaub.

Wyvonne married Elbert Lee Shaw on March 24th, 1973, at Cedar Knob Baptist Church in Salado. They were together until his death on June 16th, 2021.  She had her Associates degree from Mary Hardin Baylor University, and she was the Colonel’s secretary at Fort Hood until she retired from the civil service.

Wyvonne loved the Dallas Cowboys and watched the games with her family.  She had a Cee Dee Lamb jersey and wore it on game day.  Every time he would make a play Wyvonne would say, “I love Cee Dee Lamb.” She always sent two-year weaved calendars to all her family members every other year. She was never late or missed an anniversary or birthday day card with money inserted.  If you were in the family, you were, “Like Family.”  If you were sick or in the hospital, she would send flowers to anyone she felt needed them.

She played the piano and loved her church and church family as a member of Anchor of Hope Baptist Church in Belton. Wyvonne gave to numerous charities and organizations other than her church.  She liked her money but would not hesitate to give to her family in need, when asked, she gave. She was always giving and never asking for anything in return.  Wyvonne was so generous and the most loving and caring mom. She was the best mom ever.

Wyvonne is survived by her sons, Carl Weston and wife, Angel Alberti, of Harker Heights, David Weston and wife, Mary, of Herman, Missouri, Michael Shaw and wife, Bobbie, of Belton, and Gary Shaw, of Belton; daughter, Kim Wood and husband, Joe, of Belton; grandchildren, Rachel and husband, Alex Zerbst, of Houston, Sam and wife, Courtney Weston, Shanna and husband, Aaron Casey, of Belton, Holly and husband, James Standford, of Belton, Sabrina and husband, Merrill Ligons, of Round Rock, Michael Shaw, Katherine Robinson and husband, Louis Murphy, Benjamin Overton, Jordan Tester, Jeneveive Tester, Jazzmyn Tester; and great-grandchildren, Blankley Rose, Collete Weston, Rayne Murphy, Raden Murphy, Angelina Melle Tester, Chole Casey, Makayla Standford, Paxton Standford, Xander Standford, and Anderson Ligons.
