Weeks named Female Athlete of the Month

Evant High School senior, Harley Weeks, was recently named as the Class 1A Female Athlete of the Month for October by the Greater Texas Ford Dealers for her contributions to the volleyball team on and off the court.

As a four-year varsity setter, she has surpassed 2,000 career assists alongside 323 aces, 330 kills, and 423 digs.

Off the court, Weeks shines as a top student, a National Honor Society member, and multi-sport athlete. Her coach has been known to refer to her as, “a fierce competitor,” who gives it all for her team.

On Tuesday, Dec. 3, during halftime of an Evant girls’ basketball game in Goldthwaite, Hill Country Ford and the Greater Texas Ford Dealers presented Weeks with a trophy to signify her accomplishment.
