The Best Shrimp

The Best Shrimp

  • 12 lbs. jumbo shrimp
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves minced garlic 
  • 1/4 teaspoons crushed red pepper
  • 1/2 cup unseasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan or Romano Cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 med. lemon
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 450. Peel and devein shrimp, leaving tails intact. Place shrimp in medium to large bowl, add olive oil, salt and pepper, garlic and red pepper. Toss until the shrimp is well-coated. Mix breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese in a medium bowl and coat each shrimp with the bread crumb mixture. Spray cooking sheet with PAM and place shrimp on sheet. Place on center rack in oven and bake 8-9 minutes until shrimp are opaque in center. Serve immediately with melted butter and lemon juice.
