The 23rd annual Spurfest took place last Saturday at the Coryell Museum and Historical Center. Many of those visiting the museum were there to see the massive spur collection, which is said to be the largest spur collection in the world. Visitors touring the museum were also entertained by the Karem Shrine Cowboys from Waco who demonstrated “wild west shoot-outs” in the museum courtyard and one near the historic 1854 log jail.
