After collecting donations throughout the month of December, the Gatesville Senior Center hosted its annual Christmas party for the students at Head Start on Thursday, Dec. 19, to distribute the gifts that were donated.
This is the third annual toy drive, which is hosted to benefit local Head Start students and their families. This year, 34 students received gifts, which included 16 girls and 18 boys.
The party offered punch, cookies, dessert, music, and gifts to the students and their families. The Head Start students also performed Christmas carols for the partygoers and those present at the Senior Center.
