Santa Claus and his team will return to Gatesville for the Gatesville Fire Department’s annual Santa Run on Friday, Dec. 6.
The Santa Run will take place on Friday and Saturday evenings from 6-8 p.m., starting on Dec. 6 until Saturday, Dec. 21. Santa and his friends will leave the fire station at 6 p.m. to make a circle around the courthouse square and then will begin their trip to different areas of the city.
Due to time constraints, Santa will not be able to stop during his tour around Gatesville. For those who wish to visit or get a photo with Santa, he will be at the fire station from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8, Sunday, Dec. 15, Sunday, Dec. 22, and Monday, Dec. 23. The Gatesville Fire Department is located at 109 South 23rd Street.
The Gatesville Fire Department asks onlookers to be patient with the firefighters and Santa since their primary mission is to provide public safety. If alarms come in while on the Santa Run, they will need to break away to respond. Do not approach the firetruck unless the firefighters give permission to do so.
