Ronald Duggan Feb. 13, 1959 – Oct. 22, 2024

Ronald (Ron) Duggan, of Gatesville, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2024, at the age of 65. A private memorial will be held at a later date.

Mr. Duggan was born Feb. 13, 1959, in El Paso, the son of Joseph Harold and Bernice (Shrieves) Duggan. He began his education in Eufaula and graduated in 1977 from Eufaula High School. He continued his education at Brazosport College in Texas. He was employed by Redland Concrete Company in San Antonio and later with H&B Contractors in Waco. While living in San Antonio, he married Cecelia Bellett in the mid 1990’s. She preceded him in death June 1, 2006.

During his life,w he enjoyed deep sea fishing on the gulf coast, listening to “ole school” rock and roll music, and enjoying an ice-cold Coors Lite.

Also preceding him in death was his father.

Survivors include a daughter, Angela Spoor; stepson, John Bellett; two brothers, Thomas Duggan, David Duggan; three sisters, Doreen Anderson, Linda VanLengen, Patricia Planas; grandchildren, Rayne Spoor, Connor Spoor, Presley Spoor, Finley Spoor, Wayne Bellett, Wilson Bellett; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. He was almost a great-grandfather to baby boy Ramirez, due in November.
