Restoration work continues at the Gatesville Public Library

In September of last year, the City of Gatesville closed the public library after a patron found books on the shelves with water damage.

The library’s new temporary location continues to be at the City Hall with the entrance to the building on 8th Street, which allows patrons to request materials, utilize the internet on a provided computer, and request other library materials from the staff.

Library director Shea Harp recently stated that they hope to re-occupy the building in April.
