TEXAS RANGER COOKIES

1 c. brown sugar pinch of salt
1 c. white sugar 1 c. oatmeal
1 c. oleo or shortening 2 c. cornflakes
1 tsp. vanilla ½ c. coconut
2 eggs ½ - 1 c. pecans or chocolate chips
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. soda
Cream together brown sugar, white sugar and oleo or shortening. Beat eggs and vanilla into creamed mixture. Sift together flour, soda, and salt. Then add oatmeal, corn flakes, coconut, and pecans. Drop onto cookie sheet and bake at 350 until golden brown.
