Granny’s Lemon Pound Cake

Cake
1 stick of butter 3 c. flour
1 c. Crisco 5 eggs
2 2/3 c. sugar 1 ½ T. lemon extract
1 c. sweet milk ½ T. almond extract
1 tsp. baking powder ½ T. nutmeg
Cream sugar, Crisco, and butter. Add eggs one at a time. Add flour with baking powder and alternate flour with milk. Add lemon, almond extract and nutmeg. Pour into greased and floured bundt pan. Cook 1 hour at 300 or until toothpick comes out clean. Turn onto cake plate and then drizzle with glaze.
Glaze
½ c. sugar
½ c. lemon
½ cup orange
Dissolve sugar in lemon and orange juice. Drizzle over hot cake.
