Pearl Bluegrass continues to grow

Posted

Last Saturday, the Pearl Bluegrass event saw an increase in the number of musicians who attended and performed at the monthly event. The show began with Hiram Solis taking the stage where he performed a mix of bluegrass, gospel, and country music. He was followed by groups including House Arrest, On Fire for Christ, and Raymie and Friends.

In addition to hearing good old bluegrass music, attendees had the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets at $5 for a chance to win a fiddle and a socket set. Tommy Petty was the lucky winner of the fiddle, while Coleen Gartman won the socket set. Proceeds from the raffle went to benefit the Pearl Community Center.

Pearl Bluegrass is looking for individuals or bands that would like to be a part of their monthly stage show. For those interested in performing or attending the event, they can call or text Jeffrey King at 832-514-1909.

The next Pearl Bluegrass festival will be held on Saturday, March 1.
