Pamela G. Taylor, of Gatesville, died on Nov. 21, 2024, at the age of 71.
Pamela was born in Dallas on Sept. 27,1953 to Clyde H Burkes and Ollie Laverne (Goss) Burkes. Her family moved to rural Coryell Country when she was 10 years old. Pam attended school in Oglesby and graduated from high school in 1972. She resided in Coryell County for most of her life.
Her working life was spent mostly in the medical field where she was a certified nurse’s aide, housekeeper, and laundry technician.
Pamela had two children, seven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. These, along with her dog, Tater, were the sources of much of her joy in her later years.
She is survived by her daughter, Christy Walters, of Lorena; son, Tra Taylor and wife, Tammy, of Oglesby; and sister, Debbie McClure and husband, John, of Gatesville.
Per her request, no services will be held.
