The Oglesby Tigers traveled to Groesbeck to play the number two ranked Kennard Tigers in the area round playoff game.
Oglesby was able to hang with a much bigger Kennard team throughout the night but in the end would fall to Kennard, 63-49.
Freshman Holdyn Goff ended the season as the leading scorer for the Tigers, dropping in 17 points, with two rebounds, five steals, and two assists.
Senior Alex Castillo ended his high school career on a positive note, knocking down three three-pointers and a layup to bring his total to 11 points with two rebounds and two assists.
Senior Kyler Fossett also ended his basketball career on a high note, dropping in nine points with four rebounds.
Freshman Evan Williamson concluded his freshman year with seven points and one steal.
Junior Jack Hendricks scored five points and had three rebounds and three assists on the evening.
Sophomores, Abram Shaw and Tucker Melton, saw lots of action during the game.
The Tigers ended their season at 12-5, with a District Championship, a Bi-District Championship, and as area finalists to their resume for 2024-2025 season.
