Mark Lee Locke, age 55, of Jonesboro, passed away on Aug. 29, 2024. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sept. 14, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Gatesville Church of Christ with Miles Locke officiating.
Mark was born on Nov. 19, 1968, in Gatesville to Miles and Linda Locke. Mark grew up in Gatesville, graduating in 1987. As a child, Mark loved Star Wars and Rubrics Cubes, which he could complete in a minute or less. He loved playing chess and video games and putting together electronic kits from Radio Shack. Mark had three children and raised them in Gatesville. Mark married Jeanne Lock in 2003 and was blessed with two more children. Mark had a brilliant mind and loved computers and technology. He designed and built CNC routers for Engiplast and other companies and was a self-taught engineer. Mark worked at Engiplast, Inc. in Fort Gates for many years before purchasing the business in 2016 with his nephew.
He was preceded in death by his younger brother, Matthew Worthington and sister, Jeanna Worthington; cousin, Rusty Trustcott; and grandparents, Cleo and John Dyson and Lucille and Miles Locke, Sr.
Mark is survived by his wife, Jeanne Locke; parents, Linda Worthington and husband, Eugene and Miles Locke and wife, Linda; children, Kaylie Locke, Michael Locke, Bryan Locke, Joseph Easter and Dylan Easter; and sisters, Jennifer Tzoumas and Julie Robison.
