The Gatesville Public Library’s Teens and Tweens groups made a trip to Higginbotham’s last week to learn how to build houses for bats.
The youth groups were able to end their two-month course regarding Central Texas pollinators by using hands-on learning while building the houses. Higginbotham’s employees and parents were present to help the children with constructing the bat houses.
At a later date, the groups will have the chance to re-visit Higginbotham’s to paint their bat house creations.
