July Yard of the Month announced

Keep Gatesville Beautiful chose the yard of Dennis and Diane Smith at 403 Riata Drive as their July Yard of the Month. This beautiful home and yard were the perfect pick for July with their American flag in the front yard, the patriotic door wreath, their gorgeous lawn, and numerous flowering plants and bushes. 

Dennis is a retired Army veteran. The Smiths moved to Gatesville 10 years ago and have been improving their landscape since. They work together to keep it looking attractive.

Their landscape features Crepe Myrtles, Texas Mountain Laurel, Esperanza and Yaupon Holly bushes, Rosemary and Glossy Abelia bush.  The flowers include Salvia, Gardenia, Rock Rose, Zinnias, Kolancho, Blackfoot Daisy, and Gregs grey mist. The birdbath was made by their granddaughter from terra cotta flowerpots.
