Gatesville High School senior golfers Max Healer and Avery Streetman are headed to the regional tournament this year after both athletes qualified as medalists in the final round of the District 23-4A tournament.
Streetman finished as the number two overall medalist in the girls’ division, qualifying her for regionals. This will be her fourth consecutive season to compete in the regional tournament.
Healer earned a repeat trip as well after placing fourth in the boys’ medalist race.
The 4A-Region III tournament will be held during the third week of April in Huntsville.
