The Gatesville Country Music Hall of Fame is excited to announce a free concert at the Gatesville City Auditorium on Jan. 17. The event will take place from 7-9 p.m. at 110 N. 8th Street in Gatesville.
This special evening will feature guest performer Wren Stewart Tidwell. A familiar name in the country music scene, Wren is the daughter of legendary musician Wren Stewart, who was honored in 1967 for his chart-topping song "It's Such a Pretty World Today," which not only reached #1 on the country music chart, but was named the Academy of Country Music's Song of the Year.
Wren followed in her father’s footsteps when, at the age of 13, she sang in public for the first time. She has continued singing throughout Texas, fronting her own bands and now in her solo career.
Experience an unforgettable night filled with live country music celebrating local talent and the legacy of country music. This event is open to all ages, and admission is free, making it the perfect outing for families and music lovers alike.
