Gatesville ISD Athletic Director Rickey Phillips recently noted that while the Gatesville wrestling program faces higher-classification schools on most nights, GHS continues to get better in the ring. Despite some losses, the mostly young Hornet wrestlers have shown consistent poise and discipline, and their never-quit attitude has been prevalent. The group is led by Coach Clater Jr., who recently said he has high hopes for when they go to district. The photo was taken Dec. 11 at a tournament in Midway.
