This season has been exceptional for the Gatesville Youth Sports (GYS) football league, with all four of their teams advancing to the playoffs and the cheerleaders making their debut in the Cheerleading Showcase competition at the Super Bowl.
Gatesville’s 10U team took first place in their division at the Small Town Youth Football League Super Bowl 10U Championship last Saturday in McGregor. They defeated McGregor, 14-7, in the championship game.
