Folks Around Town

Joe is a community banker at First National Bank of Central Texas (FNBCT) in Gatesville where he helps people with commercial and personal mortgages, home construction loans, land purchases and more. He has been with FNBCT for less than a year and is grateful to have the opportunity to work in his hometown. He said that his job allows and encourages him to be involved in the future prosperity of his hometown and greater Central Texas. “It is a blessing to be in a role where I can focus long-term and not just for the next month, quarter or year,” he said. “We are family-oriented, and I am afforded the opportunity to be in my wife and kids’ everyday life in a meaningful way.” Joe has lived in Gatesville his entire life, aside from his time in college and serving in the U.S. Air Force. His favorite thing about Gatesville is that it is small enough to feel like a true community, but big enough to have the most modern conveniences or the ability to get to something nearby easily.
