Say hello to our neighbor, Sharon Dyer!

Sharon is a local who volunteers her time to the Meals on Wheels program at the Senior Center, delivering meals to those who have difficulty leaving their homes. She is also retired from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) and works part-time as a receptionist at Hillside Medical Lodge. She said that the best part about her job is being able to visit people each day. She has lived in Gatesville since she was in the first grade and expressed that she likes living in a small town.

Sharon reads The Gatesville Messenger and said that it helps her keep up with people she has not seen in a while. She also enjoys seeing recognition given to people she keeps in touch with.
